Pakistan's been becoming more muslim over time. When it became it's own country, it was basically Punjabis who were muslim. Now it's Punjabis LARPing as Arabs. In 1977 Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq declared himself Dictator of Pakistan and basically created an Islamization policy that has existed ever since, even after his death in 1988
