My mother answered the door so I don't even know the whole story. Apparently she knocked and asked my mom to buy children's books, which she doesn't need she doesn't have children, and the girl asked for help because she had like 1000 mosquito bites on her legs since we live by a lake. My mother took her inside and made some concoction to help soothe the itch and then gave her some bug spray. Apparently she saw how helpful my mom was and told her the story about how they got here. The girls live in some host home now and are unable to use their kitchen and shit and have to spend a few hundred bucks a week to stay there. The guys have been staying at a hotel. They acted strange when they saw that my gf had a handgun on her side (she works at a gun range) and they all expressed how cool it was and all.

Ah, they also tried very very hard to make themselves comparable to finns. I guess since Nordic people are genuinely nicer people and that I have Swedish heritage (blonde hair blue eyes). They were just trying to bond with us because of that. It was very eerie.
