Many Indians actually do eat beef, especially in the South, and that's just the Hindus. The Muslims of India eat beef frequently.

I really don't get why everyone craves meat so much. I was a vegetarian for a while to save money and didn't miss meat at all. Not anymore becauae now I live with my grandparents and just eat whatever they have.
