2. we had slavery too, but in different degrees, we (former gran colombia/nueva granada) and the caribbean where the ones with the most slavery
3. most of them ran away when they where freed and created small communities, that's why we have so many pure blacks but other countries like venezuela or panama have more black admixture in the overall population
