Why is the rock music so white? And by rock i mean everything, psychidelic, punk, metal, etc.
What i mean by that, sure, maybe black people came up with it, but how many big name black rockers are out there? 3? 4?
The only countries at which the rock music is popular, are white or mostly white. Incuding the New World countries.
I am a eurofag living in US, and being a eurofag i know some stuff about my country's rock scene and other countries too.
Like i know that Spain had a huge culture around the rock and punk music they experienced after Francisco franco died. I know yugoslavia had nice scene, i know ussr did. Not talking about UK,both Germanies and France. In latin america it is only Argentina, Chile and Brazil that have some kind of scene, and they are quite white. Mexico or central america are almost nonexistent within rock culture.
In africa the genre doesnt exist, as africans have something else to worry about besides the rock music. In asia, its either pop music that pretends to be rock by just using guitars, but staying the exact the same popish stuff, or there are somewhere maybe 3 chinks in the basement playing some cool stuff, but they are in the basement.
In america, its the white kids who are into the rock music, and if the kid is not white ethnically, he is probably pretty white the act wise.
So why is that, that the rock music clicked so much with the white people/europeans and why other nations and races are not into this kind of stuff?

Also rock music is very popular in Centro America (including metal), we are just too poor to afford good instruments like guitars and drums, so you know, there is not that many people that are able to play with his friends on their garages

There is an incredible amount of Asian rock band and musicians, they just aren't mainstream so much in the West.
What about negroes, they actually created rock music. Blues, blues rock, rock'n'roll... you know.
Now they have another black musical culture, rap. As majority of blacks lives in ghettoes and bad living conditions you cannot expect them to listen middle class music (and modern rock is middle and high class music).

What an idiot. As a person interested in a rock music worldwide I can say for sure rock is popular worldwide, and rap is more popular than rock now also worldwide.
Peru, for example, has many cool rock bands. You would be surprised but Maghreb countries have a cool metal scene, listen to them in YouTube. There are many rock bands in Nigeria. Just no one knows rocks band not from USA or UK. No one knows any French rock bands or Russian rock bands, no one also know anything about bands from Africa or Latin America.

Punk Rock is currently most popular in Mexico and Southeast Asia. The interest in the US currently is nowhere near them.

You have no clue, here rock, punk and metal scene is big, equally between whites and mestizos. The rock/metal scene in Mexico is huge, some of the most iconic rock bands from latam are mexican
