So every diner scene ever in American tv/movies ever has the person pouring what looks like 3 tablespoons of sugar into their coffee. Is this a thing as it bothers me when I watch it.
food in america have so much sugar you'd be surprised
their sandwich bread literally tasted sweet to me

No, only women dump sugar into their coffee.

This however is true. Everything is loaded with sugar, which is why we are such a fucking fat nation. Fatties are quite literally addicted to sugar.

If I wanted the opinion of a turk my ancestors wouldn't have gone to war with them every chance we had since my country was formed. Go rape some germans or something

But is the sugar shaker even a thing?
>>76355560
I guess they exist. I personally have never seen one in real life.
>>76355532
wow shitposting
>>76355635
Compared to commenting on an american cultural thing with a well established outside opinion?
>>76355377
I've noticed this too and its weird. The director is telling the actor to mix a ton of sugar into the coffee. Why? Is this supposed to be characterization? Are we supposed to understand: "ah, this guy is the kind of guy who really likes sugar". Or maybe the actor just needs to do something with their food, because they can't eat or drink it (people almost never eat or drink food in our flicks for some reasons)

Inorite? It distracts me a bit. Even with the American sugar fiend stereotype aside it seems really excessive
>>76355377
I use one packet of splenda, which is equal to 2 tsp/10ml
Sometimes I do french vanilla creamer instead
>>76355686
I didn't particularly do any smearings did I?
>>76355888
No just bought a dumb opinion to a gunfight
>>76355762
>people almost never eat or drink food in our flicks for some reasons
Evidently because it can take 30+ shots and that'd be a lot of food to eat. Nevermind for continuity.
>>76355917
it's supposed to indicate that they're used to consuming lots of sugar so an amount regular to a non-american would come off inadequate to an american

Damn. Regardless what anyone says you turkish people are switched on. Congrats and finding the hidden implication of this thread
