Frito-Lay and Pepsi Cola Company fused in 1965 to become Pepsi Co., they bought out many local chips/crisps companies from around the world, keeping the local brands' names but using the same designs and images as Lay's. Sabritas was bought out in 1966 and Walkers in 1989.
