I've always wondered this about Islam. Mohammad supposedly critacized the Torah and Bible saying that they were corrupted by man. He comes up with the Koran supposedly uncorrupted by man. Then Muslims follow a bunch of his supposed sayings even though if they were accurate it would not be the word of God but his interpretation. Furthermore if accurate he supposedly changed his mind on certain things and said he deserved things like more wives (why would God play favorites?) It seems like far beyond legal contradictions, the hadiths, pilgrimage, his shrine, kabbah, insane rules, etc. all blatantly go against the criticisms of Judaism and Christianity. It would make it the religion of hipocracy.

It's a bit like,

The very word is from Syrianic. A lot of scholars believe it would have been in Syrianic (though Aramaic [related to Syrianic] heavily influenced Arabic at that time). However, some scholars think it's original writing was in Eastern Classical Arabic but Mohammed would have spoken Western Classical Arabic. Regardless of which is right it is more or less agreed that it was not written in Mohammed's native tounge. The idea translating is not OK is bullshit because some translation would have happened to write it in either language.
