No, we didn't. We offered to send ~100,000 soldiers and since Sweden and Norway wouldn't allow safe transit, the Germans would've considered it an act of war. If anything the whole problem was Germany's fault to begin with. If they'd cared they would've given Finland more than a squirt of piss of help before their invasion of the Soviet Union.
