Can you imagine how bloody a medieval battle must have been?
Hundreds of thousands of people slaughtered each other with swords, speers and arrows only.
The entire field mus have smelled like a slaughter house.

>Hundreds of thousands
>swords, speers and arrows only.
Just imagine all those piles of a bodies of young boys choking in their blood, desperately gasping air, their eyes are crazy from from pre-death hallucinations, reflecting despair and strong reluctance to die. I'd probably got a massive boner right in the middle of the fight. Hell, after the battle I'd probably choose one of the cutiest and youngest and rape him before he stop breathing.

weren't medieval battles actually way smaller than antiquity battles
and sieges of castles in antiquity were tiny compared to sieges of cities in antiquity

im sure in most battles it wasnt a 100% anihilation of the defeated force
im sure most of them were enslaved or prisoners of war of some kind

did you know the word hoplite comes from the round shield they use: the hoplon
did you know that greeks had "friends with benefits" but still were considered etherosexual in most ways

tfw no war prisoners from defeated enemy city state to punish them through forced gangbang analingus under the threat of death and injuries to teach em a lesson and receive my deserved satisfaction as a winner

>>76232643
Congratulations, Hans. You have successfully triggered me. The painting that you posted shows the Spanish military in the battle of Rocroi, which happened in 1643. It is not a medieval battle.

>slaughtered
i think the worst part is that most were left wounded and only mercy killed hours later by the victorious (if they found them laying around and whining that is)
thank you Henry Dunant for being an actual human being and a real hero
