I'm actually optimistic when I see pics like this, or like a solar cell fueled TV in a Sahel village. It means that the poorest communities in our world are progressing slowly but surely. Obviously access to clean water, proper sanitation, healthcare etc is a human right, and it's sad that so many people lack it, but I believe these pics show some steps in that direction.
