What do you fugs do in the winter? Apart from drink in sauna. When I was in Norway we went skiing (cross-country skiing, not sure if you call it that) and made a fire and it was great. As we were heading back because it was dark, I saw a guy with a headlamp on heading out to ski. Is night skiing common?

Does anyone else find it weird how many ancient Proto-Germanic loanwords Finnish has? Stuff like kuningas (king) is basically exact unchangef copy of the Proto-Germanic kuningaz while modern Germans and other Germanic nations use widely differing words like könig, kung, king etc. In fact, I think the word is so old it could be that Proto-Germanics first introduced the idea of monarchy to Finns but that is just guesswork.

In my opinion the declining population of Fugs is caused by several things like people migrating to bigger cities (Helsinki, Tallinn) which reduces people's will to have children (what is the point of having kids in a small apartment) also people seem to see having kids as expensive... Women rather spent time in career and universities that is also one reason why we our populations are declining.

Estonia (and other Baltic countries) loses people to emigration and their population is getting old. Only areas that are growing in Baltic countries are their capitals. In my honest opinion Estonia should be annexed to Finland (which becomes Fugland after the annexation of Estonia) when their country can't sustain itself. There is an interesting quote:
