I'm going to give you the best piece of advice you will ever get in your life right now. This here will in fact literally save your life probably preventing depression drinking problems and maybe even suicide.

Whatever a woman tells you, never never ever change what you were going to do. Ever.

You make all the decisions about what you do (maybe sometimes a male friend or relative). Never a woman.

You want to go to x restaurant but she wants to go to y? You're going to x restaurant even if you have to go alone. You want to go to bed early and get some rest but she wants to call you at midnight and talk about shit you don't care about? Just go to sleep. And turn your phone off.

She wants to buy car A but you prefer car B? You're buying car B.

Do what you want. All the time. This isn't even some patriarchal chauvinist thing or whatever it's just about keeping yourself sane. Don't even look at it as "avoiding being manipulated" or "being alpha" because that's a negative whiny way of looking at it. Just look at it as being a happier more independent person, just the way women do.
