Econ is just an award for being the meme economist of the day.
The people responsible for the peace prize don't seem to take their job seriously
Literature may or may not be relevant but if it is it is less so than the science ones

The Economics prize is a joke, this is well-known and even recipients have stated as much. It was literally invented many decades after Nobel's death and is officially not even a real Nobel prize, it's called "The Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences", so they just stole Nobel's name.
