We had noble system, though it's not complex like europe's noble system.
It's just either you royal family, noble family, or commoner family. Noble is just a noble, nothing like in europe that is divided again.
Nowadays, noble is almost non-existent, though there are family who still keep it. Royal family is on another hand still exist until now, though most of them have no power. The only reminder are some surnames akin to smith, shepard etc. indicating what someones family was doing back in the day, this in no way shape or form pre-determines ones occupation or social standing. In a meritocratic society ones abilities are properly utilized based on individual merit, than family history.
