What do you think about the US shooting missiles at targets throughout the middle east even in countries where the US isn't at war with? Are we doing Europe a favor and protecting them or is it harming every western country's national security?

Your nation is doing no one living in a modern world a favour.

Though I have very little qualms about liquidifying Isis and other middle Eastern terrorist groups. I think this form of extra-judicial killing can lead to a slippery slope, also America needs to use way more discretion when it does these things. Things like bombing a wedding or mistaking someone's identity does way more harm.

The drone strikes even by the most pessimistic estimates have a far lower civcas ratio than any other form of warfare. The practical reasons for this should be obvious.

Ah yes, killing thousands of civilians with the press of a button from thousands of kilometres away. Obviously the point of focus ought be on the number of people killed compared to older forms of warfare. Yes, that's clearly the point of contention here.

Fuck me.

It's the thought that someone is piloting those things that makes it fucking scary.
