Quechua is language, not a tribe or ethnicty. It was brought, i think, by inca conquerors during the expansion of the empire. But yes, in the Andean region there are tribes still, some can be recognized by the way they are dressed, much more when they migrate to bigger cities.

On the Oriente or Amazonian region, the presence of tribes, contacted or not, is much more prominent. They live in the jungle and have preserved their ancient lifestyles.

Regarding the black population, it's actually quite interesting. Very few african slaves were brought during colonial times, since it was very difficult, as you would practically have to navigate through the entire south american coast to reach us by boat, or cross the Andes from Colombia by land. Also, our indgenous population was sizeable, so there wasn't really a need for african slaves. It is believed that our balck population is descended mainly from:
1.The slaves were still brought here, mainly from Colombia
2.Ships of slaves that castaway on our norther coast
3.Black labor brought from Jamaica and other caribbean islands during the construction of the Quito-Durán Railway during the end of the 19th century.
The las two i think are the most interesting. Those castaway slaves all settled on the Esmeraldas province, where 43% of the population is black. Some of the descendants of the jamaican workers still retained their anglo surnames, like the famed football player Alberto Spencer.
