Looking for a lifestyle that does not require working 50 hours a week. Also not looking to die of a mosquito bite.

Can an expat find a new home anywhere on this continent? Thanks in advance

Chila and Uruguay are the only options then

Southern Cone

Vote goes for Chile or Colombia

Bogotá. You can teach english and it pays fairly well. I'm currently looking for a gringo for particular classes.

The bad thing is that is quite cold and rainny most of the year. Also, traffic is shit. Everything else is fine. Night life, food, costs and it's not a dangerous place.

If he's moving to anywhere in latin america he has to grow a pair and understand that countries are not memes. We don't really see beheadings everywhere, Colombia is not in a mosquito crysis
>>
>>76000435
Only if you live in selvatic and hot weather zones. Bogota doesn't have this problem.

Do you want him dead? What did he do to you for
recommending him to walk straight to his demise?

Bogota crime rates are low by South American standards. It's not dangerous unless you are stupid and go to a periferic and poor zone.

I wouldn't recomend Medellin or Cali because i don't know those places and Bogota is probably prettier and better.

If you are not dumb, you won't die from a mosquito bite here. Then again, if you are voluntarily moving here, you must be pretty dumb
>>

I literally don't know a single person who died of a mosquito bite, really.

But I live on the south where the climate is sub-tropical and not actually tropical, but even if you move to the tropical areas mosquito bites wouldn't be what you should be worried about unless you actually want to go deep inside the Amazon.

Then Stay away form the southern USA. I know for a fact Chikungunya and Zika mosquitoes literally ravaged the southern east coast. Your only options are either northern mexico, the southern Cone or the comfy colombian/ecuadorian/peruvian/panamanian/costarican highlands
