Good for me though. My XB1 is less than 2 years old, so I can wait a few years for the price of Scorpio to come down and then upgrade when the original XB1 inevitably becomes unable to play the newest games properly.

Like why was it a happier ending to drive off with chloe (who was an unlikeable cunt all game) and let the entire town die? The ending of saving the town also means the entirety of the game didn't happen. It was all just an illusion of your choices mattering

I'm not going to the defend the writing or the ending but I enjoyed the journey and the characters. The humour felt on point to me, characters were somewhat relatable and decisions have more significant stakes than I expected. I like that sort of slice of life type environment. I enjoyed it more than telltale or heavy rain / beyond two souls which are the sort of games I would compare it to rather than claiming it's a masterpiece of writing.

Microsoft are pushing the "Women like video games too!" angle almost as hard as Nintendo.
