I always brought food from home because buying food was such a fucking hassle. We didn't have a canteen so that contributed to it. There used to be a vending machine but that got taken out before I came there to put in a lift for the handicapped, that always fucking broke down.

Only counting I can do with detention is that my business teacher, despite hating me, only ever gave me detention once. Weirdly enough it was for something really minor that I wasn't even at fault for. I didn't object because I know that questioning adults only gets you into more trouble and also it was a few weeks until the Junior Cert, I'd be free of her forever by then and in some way I felt I was overdue for detention by her.

First three years they were in the other class. Worst was small break on Wednesdays, they had PE before and after and stayed in the locker room all throughout. At least we shared maths in third year.
After Junior Cert though they did TY while I went ahead. Due to the unpredictable nature of TY oftentimes they went on a trip or something during the day and I was left alone. It didn't help that one of them got spinal tumors and was out in hospital most days. The year after was better since they made new friends moving into the next year and we got on well but we still only saw eachother during breaks.
