In germany working class wages stagnated or dropped, in France you got lots of deindustrialization and lost jobs, UK remained a massive shithole, only with less influence abroad.
So yeah, it's not as good as they've been trying to sell us, but imo it's still much better than east europe and greece. It just might not worth immigrating to if you already have a good job.
