First you need to have a real interest in it. Half arsed motivation won't get you anywhere
Secondly you need to find sources, the lang general has a good copypasta with various sources for different languages.
Finally, you're going to have to sit and study. Also, try to interact as much as possible with the target language (listen to music, watch movies, play video games etc)
