No, they usually have three flag poles outside flying the Irish, EU and County flags.

Theres no need for fervent patriotism beyond community here.
>>
memorial day?

No. It was weird how many homes in the US had flags outaide of their homes and how their were massive flags in a mall when I went there.
>>
No, only during the soccer world cup. In general only public buildings have them.

Federal government buildings show the EU and the national flag, like the parliament.

Buildings of the state government have the EU, the national and the state flag(because education is a subfederal competence here) + muncipal/disctrict colors depending on which subfederal level the buildings also adhere to.

Yeah, I bet you even have banners draped everywhere as well.
>>
>>75765807
Banners? You mean these vertical variations of flags that are very common in central Europe?

They're especially popular in Germany.

Not quite as many, but it's not necessarily uncommon. Some places like hotels even fly yours.
>>
Only on Australia Day, and leading up to it. My local McDonald's used to fly the flag all the time which was weird.

Still in use today.
