The richer you are the more you can be a perpetual kid because you don't have to care about what society thinks of you or surviving. Americans are westerners in general are rich enough to the point where everyone is acting ~10 years younger than they actually are (this is known as infantilization).

People in the mid to late 20s act like they're in mid to late teens, people in the early 30s act like they're in their early to mid 20s and so on. The best is that they get offended if you call them childish.
