If I am to answer my own question I'd say you first need to consider international reputation in two different terms, diplomacy and public opinion. For diplomacy were behind countries like North Korea but not better than first world countries. For public opinion we do pretty well because as the German poster said theres the dark side of poverty, crime and corruption, and more recently, of rotten meat, but also women. As for online I feel like most Brazilians are very obnoxious. They constantly make the case of starting whatever sentences with "hey I'm Brazilian and...", you know. Also behave like the loud people they are in real life.
