For instance I had an effluvium caused by my immune system when i was 16, and lost hair diffusely, now the hairloss has stopped since a couple of years, my scalp's cells are more prone to get sore, i even get acne on my scalp, I still have most of my hair and with a PGD2 inhibitor I should be able to make them thick again, but if you have the "classical" male pattern baldness where your hairline recedes and the hair follicles completely die out en mass you might prefer the stem cell therapies they are developing, for me the PDG2 should be enough too, since my pattern of hairloss was diffuse and now the loss has stopped.
