Yeah Clinton won the cities but lost everything else. Its considered very very difficult for a member of party X (Clinton) to win after a 2 term party X member (Obama) and Clinton has always been super unpopular/controversial.

Trump did have some nice ideas like bringing back good jobs, good healthcare, etc. But unfortunately if ever such things were possible, a walking talking meme is not the one who can make it happen.

Here in general USA is pretty much a media meme.
They are being watched alot, but in casual talk people often bemoan how odd and crazy stuff Americans do, when it comes into subject.
Though USA is a popular country, people will look oddly the person who is seemingly in crush of the American way.
