XARAAM! Still, it's not a Slovenian dish, but Hungarian or German, I guess. Slovenians are shameless when it comes to EU protected designation of origin -- we protected ajvar, a Macedonian paprika relish of pontic Turkish origin just because Macedonia wasn't in the EU and couldn't do the same.

Not him, but it's hard to say that is really Slovenian, I would say that potica is Slovenian, but we lived together with the Austrians for more than thousand years, so things become a bit muddy when the actual origin is discussed. Also I'm glad you like our country, I love belgian beers, they are next level, can't really be compared to any other ones.

Potica is definitely traditionally Slovenian, at least as much as strudl in that the women will make it for holidays or family visits.

Though the boundaries of what is Slovene and what isn't are very clear, nothing Slovene is completely native to only the region inhabited by Slovenes, except for one thing - the Slovenian hayrack, toplar or kozolec. Behold!

Well Bruges looks nice but is a bit of a tourist trap, but we have many historic cities(Antwerp, Ghent, Mechelen, Brussels, Louvain etc.) because the low countries and especially flandres used to be one of the most urbanized areas in the world.
We like food a lot(and in large quantities) so you'll find a little bit of everything here but I can't pinpoint some national dish, what sticks to me the most are simplistic ones like mussles and fries(which I find delicious).
For nature you'd have to go to the Ardennes, my favourite experience there was kayaking down the Lesse, really nice.
