Things to note are: The high number of Districts where Germany-born people are the largest foreign born group is slightly misleading. Most of these people were born to British parents who were stationed in Germany after World War 2.

Similarly, the USA districts not inside London are mostly due to US military bases in these areas. Also, the three Nepalese districts are nearby military bases where Ghurkha regiments were (possibly still are?) stationed.

mate, we are a mix of briton, celt, various roman, angle, saxon, jute, dane, norman, franc, dutch, german, french, italian, etc. The number of migrant populations accepted and absorbed into our cell walls is enormous. Following this, our descendants in the commonwealth and the post commonwealth countries like the USA have the same. No two brits have the same mix once you go back a few centuries because of all the little additions in different places around the island.
