There are hundreds of millions of muslims in SE Asia, including the largest majority Islamic country in the world, Indonesia. I'm sure loads of them would go to Japan if they could.

1- Trigonometry was invented by Greeks and commonly developed further by more Greeks, Chinese, Persians and Indians
2- Study of aerodynamics was also a Greek thing.
3- Astronomy was mainly a Greek, Persian, Indian and Chinese thing
4- Roman women had much more rights than Islamic women in any Caliphet. Same goes for a lot of other civilizations (plenty of ancient Indo-European ones included)
5- Surgery was first practiced by Greeks, Chinese and Indians over a millennium before Islam.
6- Universities existed in Greco-Roman and other Indo-European civilizations well before Islam and Chinese had a sophisticated civil service before everyone else.


Anything new invented under an Islamic civilization was done by Persians who simply carried on the Persian spirit of discovery in-spite of a backward religion being imposed on them. Literally everything else claimed to be invented under Islam was just a copy of Greek works and works of other civilizations.

Abrahamic religions were all truly a mistake and their spread can be attributed mainly to mistakes made by Romans and Persian empires who fell to these faiths on more than one occasion due to shitty decisions.

it's hard to apply any region to the greek's greatest cultural contributors (Phoenicians), just due to the fact that they were an extremely spread maritime people that developed into different cultures wherever they went
also, of course there was a cultural exchange between nations in the near and middle east, they were huge trading partners with each other, trading art, sharing language, trading technology etc.
to even try to pinpoint cultural claims on such a fluid stream of trade is pretty useless

The original buildings were boring and a bit ugly. I'm not trying to be an edgelord here. Of course the terrorist attacks that destroyed them were fucking awful for the loss of life and property. But the new building is worlds more aesthetically pleasing.
