Probably because the need to make such crude stories for childrens' entertainment wasn't required in a peasant society, and wouldn't have been approved for funding in a dour, "safe" communist society, if the technological advancements were there for the ability to replace natural entertainment with centralised stories.
Even classic children's stories written in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries were often made by parents for their own children first, then published, not come up by a committee as a product form the beginning.

We're talking 21st century, in a time when China does produce its own children's movies and shows. He was annoyed that it was such a simple combination yet nobody in 1.2 billion came up with it.

>He was annoyed that it was such a simple combination yet nobody in 1.2 billion came up with it.
Well with that understanding of mass society, no wonder.
Sheer numbers mean nothing when the systems that direct the flow of resources and ideas are as they are.
There are probably 10,000 Chinese with children's stories/movie ideas better than anything the corresponding Americans could do, it's just there's probably only opportunities available for about 1% of them to get to make what they want to make, and the amount of jobbers, nepotes and clueless but lucky people who take up those spaces probably dilutes the output relative to the potential even further.
The relative strengths of a society vis a vis another in a particular field rests on the efficiency of that society in finding and cultivating talent into experts.
This is basically a premise of distributism; the tendency of centralised systems to accumulate horsepower outstrips the skill of the drivers.

It's a story spanning years and changed my life to some extent as we shared a lot similar tastes and they introduced me to my favourite music genres.
Just some guy who pretended to be another person. We had a normal relationship where we just chatted every day about whatever. Nothing crazy.
Then one day apparently they wound up their story by pretending to die. It was only about a year later I discovered they were a fake,
I wasnt the only one affected.

I mean sure they were fake but still we had a lot of cool discussions so it really doesn't make a difference does it?
The extent they went to make up a false life was astonishing though. I'm pretty sure it involved identity theft or stalking at least to have such an extensive backstory and new information and pictures etc.
>>
>>75287405

Eh yeah. It was a very weird occurance and I'm not sure why they did it. Last I heard he's been conning people and ruining peoples lives on a short term scale by blackmailing and revenging people he doesn't like etc.
No idea what he ever got out of catfishing me other than nice conversations and occasional arguments. Perhaps they were just stealing my identity to reuse at a future date.

>>

I did enjoy it. I was very anxious each day but on the day all 5 of us met up I was a lot more relaxed, probably due to the social obligation to keep the conversation goingwhen it was just 2 of us.
I'm really glad I met with them though, they're long time 7 year friends.
It's not the first time I've met online people though. I've met 3 different online people too in 2 instances.

You should go abroad. I just said fuck it and did it on a whim even though my natural instinct was to stay put. It's a real relief and escape from your ties and problems at home for a while which is refreshing. I think you;d enjoy it.

It's strange that you find this of all things interesting. I just find it a little peculiar. I didn't think I was that interesting, even if my ego is a bit big at times.
I'd like to tell you but desu I have some really sensitive stuff I'd rather not share as much as I want to talk about them, it's safer this way.

It definitely seems like Leo is trying to encourage class division and sounds like he's going to be very hard on the NEET population of /eire/. Simon seems far more uniting and wants to tackle the motivational reasons as to why people don't feel work is rewarding.

They're similar. The point is to enforce uniform structure to make threads easily searchable. It's against convention to use Caps or special characters, the idea that one is ok but the other is not is illogical. Neither should be used if you're following convention and capitalising is not any more incorrect if you're not.
/eire/ is the conventional thread name of the word Éire.

I've noticed Trump has a very deliberate manner with his handshake. If he's sitting to the left of the camera it's a normal handshake since his hand is to the forefront of the camera. But if he's on the right since he shakes with his dominant right hand he tries strange maneuvers in either twisting the hand so his shaking hand appears more towards the forefront or using his left hand to wrap the handshake to ensure that his other hand is to the forefront.
It must be his "alpha dominance" insecurity at work, fearing another mans hand at the forefront of the picture would show weakness on his part.

Labour don't need to win, they just need to keep the Tory majority at a similar margin to what it is at the moment.
May wants a deal with the EU which will include a financial repayment. A lot of hardline brexiteers won't accept that and won't support it when it reaches the house along with opposition parties meaning the UK will be either forced into leaving the EU without a deal or into another general election.

He doesn't have to say it. He just has to not give a shit for the plights of those who don't wish to engage with society.
From his speech I get a vibe of "get with the program or get fucked" from him.

Not sure who to support. On the one hand varadkar is great at playing to the media, and wants value for money and to ensure fine gael only represents those who work. On the other Coveney wants the opportunity for the disadvantaged to improve their lives from childhood while not punishing people for success.

Who is better?

I wonder if the current figures reflect his great performance. Leo was much too sanguine and mellow, I don't think it came off as great as he'd have contrived whereas Coveney came off as emotionally honest and vigorously passionate.

It's a fad at the moment but they've been around for a while as a sort of stress toy or plaything for people with autism or OCD.
They come in a lot of different colours and types and seem to have meme status now because kids got into them. But honestly they're fun and addictive, I love having something to occupy my hands when I'm watching something or working.
The metal one I just got is from amazon and are a bit more expensive but you can get plastic ones for about €2 from a euro shop.

Retreat to your room and lock the door. Intermittently hit the walls/floors in such a way that she can hear. When she's leaving, peer through the curtains at her in an obvious way so she sees you (be wearing no shirt at the time).

Beyblade occurred for me just after the Yugioh trend (which I won all my friends best cards off) and it wasn't cool to like that sort of stuff anymore. The only people who liked it in my school were, I presume, dangerously autistic.

I still liked it much to the reproach of my friend who I made watch it with me once.
