I was in Paris a few weeks ago. It was kinda shitty tBh. Seeing the nice European architecture was nice but I could have seen the same sort of shit elsewhere.

I wouldn't recommend going unless you have a lot of money and can afford very central accommodations and tours and shit. The only good part of the city is very small. You can pretty much see all the good shit in a day or maybe 2 if you take your time.

For my first trip abroad I was pretty disappointed and very much regret it for the amount of money I poured into it

I managed to see the Arc de triomphe, Eiffel tower, War Museum/Napoleon's tomb, Pantheon, Notre Dame, and the Louvre all in one day and all by walking too. Although I only spent a couple hours in the Louvre as it was the end of the day and I was really fucking tired at that point.

The touristy center of Paris is really nice, 10/10 would visit again.

But don't even bother to see anything outside of it, some places look like 1950s USSR and are full of people that made me feel a bit uncomfortable to say the least.
