I can't fucking sleep. Help
I had a brilliant idea.
You could, like, close the window!

But then it gets really hot inside

Just get proper curtains
problem solved

The sun gets through the curtains. I wake up every morning at 4am because I get sunlight in my face.

Buy thicker curtains anon. I'm a third world NEET who sleeps during the day and even I can afford them.

Buy some blackout curtains online and mount them on your windows. I did this because I'm autistic about perfecting my sleep etc for maximum gains.
There are a bunch of Swedish threads on it too on various forums, flashback, familjeliv etc. I believe someone got magnet glue and attached magnets to the cloth for easy application and removal, I was lazy so I just silvertaped that shit to the top and fold it on my actual curtains (they cover them so it doesn't look like a psycho room when they're down). It's like sleeping in a cave, noticeable improvement in sleep quality. My sleep schedule is fucked up too so it helps me go to bed when the sun is shining and birds are chirping.
Check out German cloth stores, they're the cheapest. I believe I bought it from some generic name like "stoff.de" or something, may have been a synonym. tyg.se might be the Swedish version if I remember correctly.
Sleep well my fellow Swede

The problem is the window I have in my bedroom is a roof window that is on the angle and I have not been able to find any blackout curtains to fit it.

Super simple:
Aluminium foil my man!
I used it for months when I was working night shift on a project. Just use the blue painters tape to hold it so it doesn't leave residue.

Or this.
Some countries never developed the concept, just curtains.
