I played the Kaiserreich mod, that timeline is somewhat more interesting for me but it's unfinished/with bugs, many many nations still have generic national focus trees and sometimes it's really just boring.

played as Poland->Commonwealth at first but depending what choices nations around you make, it can be either interesting or boring af. Ukraine decided to leave the German faction but then allied Russia which never turned into Soviet. Can't really hit Belarus or Lithuania as theyre in German faction and can't hit Germany either because they're way too strong. After second Weltkrieg started, game started running like a potato, 1 month in like 5 minutes if not more.

now I played as Austria and try to restore the dual monarchy. It was pretty interesting session, after pope dies you can either choose to press claims on Italian throne or back off. you can either annex Hungary via war then or reform monarchy so that they stay as more powerful subject but no independent.

I actually find both Lusatian Sorb languages easier in writing than Polish, through the speech is horrible because nowadays those few who speak it have an extremely German accent.

I would say, after Czech, Upper Sorbian is the most similiar language to Slovak, at least in writing.

As a Slovak Czech is basically not even a real foreign language (see the pic I posted) but I know it is amazingly hard for many foreigners. Same applies to Slovak, but Czechs have ř which even we cannot pronounce.
