The UK government is getting ready to separate it's internet from the rest of the planet, and create it's own government made, governmet regulated internet.

Honestly I thought Brexit was pretty cool, decentralizing power and all that. But this is the exact opposite. CENTRALIZING power. I wish I knew a few Brits/scots/irish I could talk to about this. Why do they like this? Why is this a thing they actually desire?
