Technically a spree killer, but Christopher Wilder went on a cross-country killing spree in March-April 1984 before police caught him at a Vermont gas station and he intentionally shot himself.

he was convicted of attacking, kidnapping and raping one woman. She escaped and alerted the police buts its suspected hes murdered 8 other women who went missing in the same area.
The bodies have never been found though so hes never been convicted of his crimes
