Socioeconomically and geographically, Finland is a Nordic country. But culturally, linguistically and genetically, they're Baltic or Baltic-Finnic.
And the term "Baltic" is a kind of a meme too. Balts are Latvians and Lithuanians, Estonians and Finns are Finno-Ugric. So I'd say Baltic is more like a geographical and historical term, rather than economic or some shit like that.
