I think it's more good than bad. The bad is mostly toxic people, but those are everywhere.

I mean our species is doing as well as it is now from improving means of communication, sharing info, and archiving. The internet is another level of this. Once we become more globally aware, then we can understand each other more, and especially past the language barriers.

Also, the idea that a big chunk of our anthropological records for the past 20+ years have been stored on computers, that might not exist if there was a fallout is kind of neat.
