What's the typical breakfast in your country like?
Here in Argentina our breakfast is typically very sweet compared to other countries, or so I've been told.
Typical breakfast:
Orange Juice (sometimes)
Coffee (espresso or with milk)
OR
Mate (a type of bitter herbal tea)
OR
Regular tea (somewhat rare though)
OR
Chocolate milk (typically kids)
Along with:
Medialunas (croissaints)
Tostadas (toast)
Churros
Facturas (pastries)
Spreads:
Butter
Dulce de Leche (Argentine thick sweet caramel made with milk)
Jam (typically strawberry or raspberry)
Mendicrim (a sour cream)
Eating any meat for breakfast is rare but sometimes ham and cheese can be added.
Breakfasts are typically light since we are big on lunch and dinner. Lunch is usually at 12-1 PM. There's a 5 O'clock teatime tradition imported from the British, but no supper.
Dinner is very late compared to other countries, usually at 9-10 PM.
Cheese sandwich with a glass of milk.
Instead of cheese you can also pick chocolate flakes, peanut butter or meat.
Instead of mil you can also pick coffee or orange jews.

We eat something similar for lunch. Although a warm sandwich (with ham, cheese or an omelette) is fine too.
The entire country has dinner at 18.00.

And people like to eat a bun with a meat kroket with mustard for lunch. But thats considered "sinning".

Really?
Wow that's even earlier than Brazilians
Here restaurants are still full by 23:00
Though the peak hours are 21:00 and 22:00.
Thanks very informative posts.

Looks to be some form of scramble with tomatoes and mushrooms, pretty standard American fare.
