I'm highly fluent in English, and confident enough to take TOEFL and get a high score. (Though I'd prefer a better certification like Cambridge.)
I plan on becoming an English teacher in the future, as well as Spanish.

I'm learning Japanese, too. Just a beginner for now, though.
I might, just might, learn a 4th language in the future, after I'm done with Japanese, and only if I have time. But for now, I'm good.

* Spanish, obvious benefits for where I live

Putting casual effort:
* Japanese, fascinated by the culture in general
* Mandarin, might be as important as Spanish in large sections of SoCal one of these days
* Arabic, I started learning this a few years ago and I feel compelled to make some progress still
* French, thanks to knowledge in Spanish I've learned basic reading proficiency with comparatively little work

I'm learning Japanese too, I've tried learning many languages in the past but since I didn't really have anything to use it on I ended up quitting. With Japanese I at least have the media to fall back on if I never get the opportunity to visit there.

My native language is Spanish, and I know a bit of French. I'd also say my English is nice but I don't want to overestimate myself.

Been relearning German, I did it at GCSE but I'd like to get to grips with it on my own terms, it's been 8 years since I learned it and I've been quite consistent these past few months.

I quite like Germany, I quite like Europe, and I felt like I'd be better off learning a language that I have some grounding in rather than starting on another one. So once I'm at a proficient level I'll probably move on to another language. My list of languages I would like to learn is pretty ambitious, it includes Japanese, Arabic, Farsi and Tagalog.

French. Many countries have French as an official language so I would be able to live there. I also learn about French culture and a bit of their history as well.

I tried to learn mandarin but it was too tough so I settled in learning the pleb chinese which is japanese.

Learning french and japanese, the former because of the literature and the latter because of the culture.

After that I plan to learn russian to be able to read the great russian literature in the original and latin to study the great theological works.
