Is there a site where I can download classic french books in public domain? Examples would be Victor Hugo, Stendhal, Pascal, Balzac, Proust, Flaubert, ChateauBriand etc
I'm going to start studying this language and will try to practice reading those books.

Is there no site created by your government containing those kind of books?
I thought every country had one.

Thanks, so 3 months should be enough to be able to read something like Proust, right?

You might want to start with something shorter and easier to read.
