Snow is overrated.
Pancakes with maple syrup are pretty good.

Deserts are very overrated, it's sort of like a beach except the sand inhibits your movement more than usual.
Also coconuts only grow one type of tree, and the ones you find at the beach are usually full of seawater.

There are desert dunes in Natal, and it's close to the beach so you can get refreshed in the water later on if it's too hot.

just come to LA. you can go swimming in the beach, hiking in the mountain, skiing in the mountains, and head to the desert for whatever reason all in the same day and you can have your coconut and pies while in the car

American high school life depends on the person. In my experience,

You can make pancakes with any ingredients and they sell maple syrup in most stores of the world.

You can make those pies with very common ingredients, unless flour, eggs, milk, apple and strawberries are rare in your region.
