i'd say It's in stagnation . We had 2 armed coups and after each coup there was some positive dynamics but after a while new president always get cocky and everything goes back, if not worse. Given the fact that they always worked together (second president was prime minister and third president was ambassador in US and then UK at the time when first pres was around, then the third president was in parliament and fourth was prime minister when second president was in charge) so i don't think things will changes soon. There is no politics here, only struggle for power. No political spectrum: right or left, commies and nationtalists (there are commumist party, socialist party, Soc-dem, liberals but they are just named like that, there is no difference between them) We have also strong regional divison: north and south and by provinces (oblast') So people usually vote for someone from their place, they don't give a 2 shit about their political programms.
