>Wales, a self confessed non-country, has more native language speakers than Ireland and Scotland, who claim to be real countries
SCREECHING, BELLOWING AND HOWLING

Wales has more motivation to assert themselves through linguistics due to not being a sovereign state.

I don't mind Wales or Ireland using their languages but Scots Gaelic is a bullshit meme language. It's no more native to Scotland than English is.

As opposed to Ireland being a sovereign state based on a leprechaun economy. Hmmm yes

They're subhumans that got crushed by the based Roman Race

Both Scottish Gaelic and English are native to Scotland.

A nation without their own language, is not a nation at all.

Irish economy is based in being European, atractive tax policy toward companies and... Speaking English.
>>
>>74741436
Most European countries aren't really nations by that token, they just call their meme-dialect a different language.

My problem is when people act as though Scots Gaelic is the "first" or the most native language to Scotland.
If there is such a language in Scotland it's arguably Pictish, and we know almost nothing about it outside of a few stones and toponyms

There's seems to be two attitudes from Scots, those that overplay the extent of Gaelic and those who underplay it. Odd attitudes.
