Is Germany a Catholic country?

When it comes to the people, your map pretty much answers the question. The biggest group of people are non-religious, followed by Catholics, followed by Lutherans.
Otherwise, Germany is traditionally a Christian country. I would not say that it is necessarily Catholic. We have a mixture of Catholic and Lutheran holidays and traditions.
