A civil war state only applies when the two sides are armed. You know, the anti gov only have wooden shields and puputovs
This is more like severe, very very harsh repression by a bunch of pseudosocialist fuckers

My point is in military coup scenario a part of the army would stay with maduro, than a war civil begins, I'm sure even the military elite is being affected by the chaos.

>>74676363
They a following the fascist textbook indeed, but "real" socialism is even worse.
Watch this, I'm not sure if you can understand pt, he is following the steps of Salazar, Franco and Mussolini.

I literally hope Peru,Brazil Colombia and Bolivia invade Venezuela so that faggot Maduro gets ousted from power. Literally, if you guys had a functional and somewhat competent gov't you could be an economic powerhouse in South America due to all that fucking oil below your feet. Here's hoping for the best, Venezuelanons

PSUV is basically the political arm of the military at this point. (Chavez himself was military)

One of the main reasons a lot of the shit in Venezuela has been a massive failure, is because the PSUV say, nationalize a national asset like say oil, but instead of putting petroleum experts in charge, they put military who can then siphon wealth into their personal bank accounts.

Everything going on in Venezuela has happened in Western Countries in terms of policy, but Venezuela is a corrupt shithole where the Military is essentially its own private agent who "picks and chooses" who is in power.

Any Government that gets in power in Venezuela, needs to either find a way to sideline the military or get them on side.

Chavez being ex military probably thought he could have the military naturally onside while he developed the country. Then 2008 GFC hit and fucked shit up bad and the plan unraveled.

The next Government honestly will probably need to do something drastic to sideline the military, honestly "peoples militias" or some shit to defend the Government from military coup.

This never happens though in developing countries.

The same Venezuela story gets played out over and over and over again.

Hell even arguably developed countries like Australia suffer from this to some degree.

>pseudosocialist

Fuck you too, you are part of the problem.

The reason nothing will ever come out of those "protests" in Venezuela is people like you who still believe that socialism is superior, and that the problem with Maduro and Chavez is that they weren't "real socialism". You will never be able to dismantle Bolivarianism because you don't actually agree with its ideas, objectives, not even with its methods. You just don't like the results, and believe that by doing the same things twice, but with "better" leadership, it will work out just fine.

I seriously hope Maduro order the colectivos to shoot you, to enter your homes and rape your mothers, wives, sisters and daughters. As much as I hate Bolivarianism, at least it is better than this Soros-funded, globalist, progressive socialism that the Venezuelan opposition represents.

Venezuela isn't "Socialist" though.

Like literally. The PSUV is a populist social democratic party.

Price controls on goods aren't "Socialism". Like 90% of Venezuelans are employed by the private sector. It has less Government spending per capita than most western countries.

Some things they did were populist left leaning, like say nationalizing oil and spending the money on social programs. But that isn't "Socialist".

It would be like saying, France is Socialist because PS is in power.

>>74680798
>spending the money on social programs. But that isn't "Socialist".

So what is socialist?

>nationalizing oil

it isn't populist, it is common sense and the right thing to do.

You're interpreting socialism as merely "big government". By that standard Japan is socialist and Zimbabwe isn't.

Socialism is one of the names of an international political movement, that can use big government, and can do the opposite. In Latin America, socialism is represented by the Foro de São Paulo, and in Venezuela, by the PSUV.

The purpose of this movement is the establishment of absolute political control, as the CPSU had in the Soviet Union, the CPC has in China, and the PSUV has in Venezuela, but the SAP doesn't have in Sweden, the PS doesn't have in France, and not even the LDP has in Japan.

You see this aspect better beyond the surface, in the communal movement of Venezuela, for example, where the party attempts to build a paralell state structure to better dominate the country. Shows me a Western country that does the same. I can't think of any.

http://www.counterpunch.org/2016/12/30/venezuelas-communal-movement/

https://nacla.org/article/communal-state-communal-councils-communes-and-workplace-democracy

Also shows me a Western welfare state with such disregard for property rights in the name of government/party politics as Venezuea/PSUV has done.

Corruption is everywhere. I guess there is some truth in your comment , But most of the money is going to their reserves, and their projects. Better than giving the oil and gas for dimes.
