Why not Esperanto? There are only 6 conjugations:
- as: present
- is: past
- os: future
- i: infinitive
- u: imperative
- us: conditional

So you would have then parolas, parolis, parolos, paroli, parolu, parolus, that would mean speaks (present), spoke (past), will speak (parolos), to speak (infinitive), speak! (imperative), would speak (conditional).

1000 hours of practicing a Romance language would be equivalent to practicing 150 hours of Esperanto.

That is if you only want to learn a foreign language that doesn't sound like English.

This isn't hard

Spanish is all fun and games until you start negotiating prices with your lawn mower. Shit hits the fan I tell you. Thought that it would be easy so I took Spanish all throughout elementary, middle, and high school. Ended up graduating knowing how to conjugate any phrase, tense, and 80% of conversational words perfectly as long as it was on paper. I had better Spanish skills than anyone in my grade. Hell, I had a better class average than the Spanish kids and I live in Florida mind you. I'm able to hear when the Spanish kids are talking behind my back. This one girl once said I had a nice jawline but I was too beta to hit that. Damn she had a nice ass too

tldr- Spanish is easy but the conversing in it is a pain it the ass

That's misleading. Example:
In German three different prepositions may be used for describing movement towards something, depending on what kind of object the subject is moving towards. Meanwhile Uralic languages just could have one case ending that's always the same.
