Eh, Mayo are decent at Football. But if I had my way, a county could only be considered a strong GAA county if they could field a decent Senior team in both Hurling and Football. There are plenty of good Gaelic counties and Hurling counties, but few good GAA counties.

Coveney might win though as he seems to have more vested interests who want him like Denis O'Brien or Peter Sutherland. That parliamentary party vote might not be that accurate though as most of the Dublin FG TDs want Varadkar as he will make them very safe in the next election and might net them a couple more, so some of them have made their mind up, while a lot of the non-Dublin TDs might wait until others have put their hat in the ring bar Coveney and maybe Donohue. The polls won't be too accurate to the actual result though until an official election is called.
