That's absurd. Individualism isn't inherently good neither socialism inherently evil or vice versa. So much of politics is essentially about balancing individual freedom and trying to fight the inequalities and injustices that engender out of that expression of freedom because we all agree society as a whole is better if there are some common goods that everyone should have regardless of their financial or other social status.
