So if you want universal healthcare, call your state senator or state representative. We have a ridiculously long laundry list of publicly funded services from the federal government that already included some health services. I'm not too familiar with local politics in the South, hell I'm struggling to keep up here in California tbph, but I'm curious about something similar for my state to The Netherlands or Israel where they treat the whole country as one electoral district and then just cast votes for parties rather than individuals.

One advantage it produces pretty evidently is a massive propagation of the number of parties. However, one disadvantage is that any actual seatholders are going to be chosen by internal party choice rather than a public vote.
